Terms of Service
Last updated 2 July 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Swazona Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company no. 15457516), the company behind Swazona. They cover how you may use the workshop, the intelligence layer, the credit-based plans, and the Swazona Runner. Please read them before you create an account or subscribe.
1. Who we are and accepting these terms
Swazona is operated by Swazona Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 15457516). In these terms, "Swazona", "we", "us", and "our" refer to that company; "you" refers to the person or organisation using the service.
By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using any part of the service, you accept these terms. If you use Swazona on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it. You must be at least 18 years old to use Swazona.
2. What Swazona provides
Swazona is an intelligence-and-execution layer for software products. It helps you move from an early idea to a shipped product through a guided sequence: discovery and market signals, a structured bilingual brief (BRD), milestones and tickets, technical stack guidance, and, where you choose it, an optional developer marketplace.
Much of the service is powered by artificial intelligence and by software you run yourself, including the Swazona Runner. Swazona provides planning, guidance, and generated content to help you build. You remain responsible for the product you create and for the decisions you make with our output.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Accounts are for a single named user unless we agree otherwise in writing. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.
4. Plans, credits, and billing
Swazona runs on subscription plans. A monthly build plan includes a recurring allowance of credits and access to the intelligence layer; a lower-priced standalone Intelligence tier is available for browsing only. Current plans, prices, credit allowances, and billing periods (monthly or annual) are shown on the Pricing page and at checkout.
Credits are a unit of usage. Each AI action consumes credits based on its real underlying cost. Your monthly allowance renews at the start of each billing cycle and may roll over only up to a stated cap; unused monthly credits above that cap do not carry forward. New accounts also receive a one-time welcome grant.
You can buy additional credits as top-up packs ("boosters"). Boosters and welcome credits are added to a persistent reserve balance and are consumed after your monthly allowance. Credits are a licence to use the service, have no cash value, are not money or a stored-value instrument, and are non-transferable.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), which acts as our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. When you buy a subscription or credits, the payment contract for that purchase is with Paddle, Paddle is shown as the seller on your receipt, and Swazona provides the service itself. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. Prices are shown with any applicable VAT or sales tax, which Paddle calculates, collects, and remits as Merchant of Record based on your location, so you are not separately responsible for accounting for that tax on ordinary consumer purchases. We may change plans or prices, and will give reasonable notice of changes that affect an active subscription before they take effect.
5. The Swazona Runner and code that runs on your own machine
The Swazona Runner is software you install and operate on your own hardware. When you pair it with your account, it executes jobs, AI agents, and generated code against your own repositories, files, and development environment. The code runs on your machine, not on ours.
Because execution happens on your own systems, you are solely responsible for the environment you connect, for reviewing generated code and commands before you run them, for backups, and for any effect that running them has on your files, systems, or data. You must have the right to use any repository, tool, or model you connect, and you must comply with their licences.
Swazona does not control your machine and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, is not liable for loss or damage arising from code or commands executed by the Runner on your systems. Review output as you would review a contribution from a human collaborator before you rely on it.
6. AI-generated content
Briefs, discovery outputs, stack recommendations, tickets, code, and other generated material are produced by AI models, including Anthropic's Claude and any additional or self-hosted models you choose to connect. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation, and similar output may be generated for other users.
You are responsible for reviewing and validating any output before you use it. Generated content is provided for planning and building and is not legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice. As between you and Swazona, you keep the rights to the inputs you provide and to the output generated for you, subject to the terms of the underlying model providers.
7. Third-party services and your own model keys
Swazona relies on third parties to work, including Anthropic for AI processing, Paddle as our Merchant of Record and payment processor, code-hosting providers such as GitHub, and any model providers you configure yourself, including self-hosted options such as Ollama that run locally on your machine. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
If you supply your own model provider or API keys, you are responsible for their cost, security, and use, and for complying with the relevant provider's terms.
8. Acceptable use
You agree to use Swazona lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you agree not to:
- use the service to build or do anything unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful, or to generate content that violates others' rights;
- attempt to bypass credit metering, security, or rate limits, or otherwise abuse the AI features;
- reverse engineer the service except where the law expressly allows it;
- scrape, bulk-extract, resell, or share access to the service without our permission;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or operation of the service.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you submit, including ideas, briefs, uploaded documents, and repository content you choose to process. You grant Swazona a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and transmit that content as needed to operate the service and provide the features you use, including sending relevant content to the AI providers described above. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use your private business content to train our own models.
10. Developer marketplace
If you use the optional marketplace, vetted developers may bid on work generated from your project, and payments are held and released against milestones. Swazona provides the venue and takes a stated percentage fee on each milestone release; it is not a party to the contract between you and a developer and is not responsible for the work delivered. Marketplace use is subject to any additional marketplace terms presented at the time.
11. Intellectual property
Swazona, including its software, design, and brand, is owned by Swazona Ltd and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights in Swazona except the limited right to use the service. If you send us feedback, you allow us to use it without any obligation to you.
12. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the service or its AI output will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or suitable for your needs. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swazona will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to Swazona in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. This section does not limit liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Swazona against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms or of applicable law, including claims relating to content you submit or to code you execute with the Runner.
15. Suspension, cancellation, and termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Paddle customer portal, or by emailing billing@swazona.com; cancelling stops the next renewal. To close your account and have your associated data deleted, contact us at legal@swazona.com. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if it is needed for security or legal reasons, or if we stop offering the service. Cancellation and refunds are described in our Refund Policy. Terms that by their nature should survive termination, such as those on liability and intellectual property, will continue to apply.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. By continuing to use Swazona after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
17. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you other rights. You can reach us about these terms at legal@swazona.com.
